Frequently asked questions
What can I expect from working with Gaelene?
A professional, invested approach in you as I take your recovery seriously. I am committed to your success. I will support you through your journey of healing; hold your hand when you need a little extra support and encourage you when you think you can’t do it (because there will be times when you think you can’t) and cheer you on through the high of your victories.
A true investment in yourself and your worth is what you will take away from our sessions. Working with me will not only equip you for today, it will be imprinted in you for a lifetime.
Not ready for an appointment but still want to stay connected?
If you are not ready to take that bold step forward you can still stay connected with me by signing up for my mailing list where you can expect to feel informed, uplifted and inspired by my messages. Follow my blog for insight into my own journey of recovery and what I have learnt and continue to learn daily. The richness of my life is because of the choices I have made and the continuous courage to push through into something better. We are no different, you and me, we are human beings that are more than our experiences.
How long are Skype sessions?
Skype sessions are 45 minutes long and if you are in Johannesburg, you follow up your session with a cellular memory reformation session at my practice in the south of Johannesburg.
Skype sessions are available to everyone in South Africa and abroad.
How many sessions will I need?
A minimum of three sessions are needed to allow you to benefit from the service I offer. As each person and their circumstances are unique, follow up appointments will depend on how we are progressing together.
How do I set up an appointment?
Are you ready to take a step forward and move beyond what your life is right now?
Take action by calling or messaging me on +27 82 825 9845.
E-mail me on help@thetraumacoach.co.za and begin to start living again.
How long are ‘sitting together’ sessions?
Every sit down session is an hour and a half long. The session is divided into two parts; talking about why you are here and how to get you to where you want to be, and then shifting the upsetting memories on a cellular level. A commitment of three sessions is required on your part, ideally at two weekly intervals. As each person and their circumstances are unique, follow up appointments will depend on how we are progressing.
Don’t have Skype and are not close by but still want to work with me?
If you do not have skype or do not have access to an internet connection, telephonic sessions can be arranged. This will depend on the area you live in and the possible charges that may be incurred because of this. This will be decided on an individual basis.
Can I claim from medical aid?
The Trauma Coach.co is a cash practice and sessions are paid for on the day of your appointment. We are exploring the benefits of opting in to a medical aid scheme as a potential option.
